You will collect your degree certificate, academic dress and two invitation cards from NTU according to the collection dates and venue given. Collection of your transcript will be at NIE during the gown collection period for your Teacher's Investiture Ceremony in July. Details on this collection and the ceremony itself will be sent to you by NIE.
Semester 1 graduands who have already collected their degree certificate and transcript need only collect the academic dress and invitation cards on the assigned date.
Please take note to bring along any one of the following items for identification purposes when you arrive at NTU to collect the relevant items:
- Identity Card
- Matric Card
- Passport
If you are unable to collect the items personally from NTU , please authorise someone to do so on your behalf using the Authorization Form. This form is applicable only for collections at NTU.
You must settle all outstanding fees (eg. library fines, hostel fees or school fees) with the relevant departments within NIE before you collect your degree certificate or transcript. Please note that your transcript and degree certificate will be withheld until the outstanding payment(s) has been settled.
You might wish to make an optional appointment with the official supplier of academic dresses, Serangoon Broadway Studio, for trying on and purchase/rental of your academic dress directly from the shop. However, should you choose to do so, you will still be required to collect the other item(s) from NTU on the assigned date.
If you are unable to authorize anyone to collect on your behalf, you may collect your degree certificate and invitation cards from NTU, Office of Academic Services from 17 July 2007 onwards. The academic dress can be purchased/rented directly from Serangoon Broadway at any time during their operating hours. Please refer to the useful contacts for the relevant addresses and operating hours of the various offices.
