Dr. Chang’s research mainly focuses on air quality with special emphasis on aerosol physics and chemistry, indoor/outdoor air quality monitoring, and human exposure assessments via inhalation. He has been working extensively on investigating how the automobile exhaust mixes with ambient air and how the dilution behavior affects the formation of ultrafine particulate matters in the exhaust. Victor is also interested in photo-catalytic technology in indoor air quality control, and energy efficiency on HVAC systems.
