Graduate Studies
The
School of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers
graduate programmes leading to the award of the Graduate
Diplomas, the Master
of Science degree (by coursework and dissertation),
the Master of Engineering
and the Doctor of Philosophy
degrees (by research) to fulfil the University's
role in the training of technological leaders and entrepreneurs
of tomorrow, and in advancing research and development
for industry in the region. These graduate courses are
offered on part-time or full-time basis.
For students with outstanding academic records can consider A*STAR Graduate Scholarships (for full-time PhD studies by research in areas of environmental engineering) as well as NTU Research Scholarships.
The School is also offering the Master
of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Environmental
Science and Engineering through the Singapore
Stanford Partnership. This is a joint academic
programme with the Department of Civil and Environmental
Engineering at Stanford University.
All the degree programmes offered by
the School are well recognized by both local and overseas
professional bodies, including the Institution of Civil
Engineers and the Institution of Structural Engineers
