Use Proofing Tools

Most of the word processing software provides some kind of proofing tools, for example, a dictionary to check spellings, and a tool to check grammatical errors. In Microsoft Word, proofing tools are enabled by default.

The types of mistakes are highlighted with red, green and blue curly underlines:

When reviewing a long article, it is a good idea to make use of the proofing tool interface to go through all suggested errors.

For Microsoft Word:
1. click the Review tab on the ribbon and select Spelling & Grammar to launch the proofing tool interface.
2.Go through each detected error and correct as appropriate.
